• Cleveland/Chattanooga, Tennessee
• Kingsport/Bristol/Johnson City, Tennessee

Satellite Technician/Installer Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair all causes of system failure
• Comply with safety procedures and requirements which include working and driving in a safe manner as outlined in our Safety Plan
• Communicate with customers in a clear and straightforward manner while providing excellent customer service which meets our targeted standards in regards to Quality Assurance scores, Customer Satisfaction scores, Completion Rates, Trouble Call Rates, and Productivity
• Use basic knowledge of mathematics as it relates to wiring and electronics
• Complete all technician paperwork in a timely fashion with proper notations
• Maintain fleet vehicle making sure it is clean, stocked, set up and used properly according to our Fleet Policy
• Continue your education and maintain certifications by participating in ongoing company-sponsored training programs necessary to stay current with today’s changing satellite environment
• Execute all installation procedures taught during new hire training and up training in order to produce the high quality level of work expected by the cutomer
• Work full time hours including weekends, holidays and overtime as required

Satellite Technician/Installer Requirements;

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Six months of Technician and customer service experience preferred
• Must achieve and maintain all technical certifications
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Must be able to pass a thorough criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a DMV records check if driving a company vehicle
• Must be able to pass a drug screen test before employment, any time employee is involved in an injury/accident or any other time during employment
• Required to work both inside and outside of homes, office buildings and warehouse
• Must be able to travel and work in inclement conditions
• Lift and carry loads up to 70 lbs. or more
• Must be able to kneel or crouch for extended periods of time
• Work while standing up 75-90% of the time
• Climb ladders 12 to 40 feet above the ground as determined by system requirements
• Work in crawl spaces and attics
• Drive a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner
• Perform installs and repairs in a safe manner according to our safety plan
• Ability to manipulate objects and use hand or power tools
• Must be able to hear, see and read to effectively perform job functions
• Ability to effectively use power tools, hand tools, and all installation tools
